The OT-One Standard comes with one single-channel pipette, and the PRO and Hood models come with both a single-channel and an 8-channel pipette. Your pipette(s) will be shipped pre-mounted within your accessory box for easy installation.
Due to the differences in plunger heights between the various pipettes, the L bracket must be adjusted on the A and B axis of the robot when switching pipettes.
In order to adjust the L brackets, you will need:
- Single or multi channel pipette (left)
- M4 Allen key (right)
Step 1: Loosen the 3 screws that are on the L bracket with an M4 allen key to allow the L bracket to move up and down the axis
Step 2: Slide your pipette upwards into the black L bracket, until the pipette’s ergonomic handle is pressed firmly against the black stopper.
Step 3: Reposition the pipette so there is enough room between between the acrylic and plunger
Step 4: Tighten all screws on the pipette with an M4 allen key
Step 5: Tighten the three screws on the L bracket shown in Step 1
