Materials:

  • 2 Allen Keys 
  • 3 base plates
  •  4 acrylic top plates (1 - .75mL), (2 - 2mL), (1 - 15/50mL)
  • 12 large brass standoffs
  • 4 small brass standoffs
  • 8 small screws (M3x8mm)
  • 4 large screws (M4x25mm)

Procedure: .75mL Tube Rack Assembly

Step 1: Place bottom plate with its threaded holes face up
Step 2: Screw brass standoffs into the threaded holes on the bottom plate
Step 3: The top plate has 4 small corner extrusions, align these with the threaded holes of the brass standoffs.
Step 4: Fasten the small screws through the top acrylic into the brass standoff with your allen key

Procedure: 2mL Tube Rack Assembly

Step 1: Place bottom plate with its threaded holes face up
Step 2: Screw brass standoffs into the threaded holes on the bottom plate
Step 3: The 2mL tube rack will have 2 top acrylic plates. Use the long screws provided and place the acrylic on top of 4 long screws.
Step 4: Fasten the smaller brass standoff approximately halfway down the long screw.
Step 5: Place the second 2mL acrylic plate on top of the smaller brass standoffs. Make sure the extrusions have the same orientation.
Step 6: Flip the double plated top and align it with the larger brass standoffs.
Step 7: With one hand hold the smaller brass standoff with your pointer and thumb
Step 8: Use your free hand with the larger allen key to fasten the long screw through the double plated top acrylic into the brass standoff

Procedure: 15/50mL Tube Rack Assembly

Step 1: Place bottom plate with its threaded holes face up
Step 2: Screw brass standoffs into the threaded holes on the bottom plate
Step 3: The top plate has 4 small corner extrusions, align these with the threaded holes of the brass standoffs.
Step 4: Fasten the small screws through the top acrylic into the brass standoff with your allen key
